Government- Highlighted Project Experience

Statewide Florida Army National Guard Facilities

Project Type: Threatened and Endangered Species Survey and                          GIS Database

LG2 Environmental Solutions, Inc. was contracted by the Florida Army National Guard to develop a comprehensive web-based GIS database of 60+ facilities across the state of Florida.  As a basis for initial population of the database, a protected species survey was conducted on all facilities.

Field collection include protected species habitat, GPS location of occurrences of protected species, GPS verification of key structures and on-site features, and panoramic photographic points throughout each site.  This data, as well as other in-house date (aerial photographs, soils maps, NWI maps, etc.) was used to populate the database.  In addition for each site, a linked web site was developed as a repository of all specific site information and documents including site surveys, engineering reports, compliance reports, archaeology surveys and data, storage tank reports, etc.  Total LG2ES project cost-approximately $95,000.
